They are marketed to be mobile but they cannot survive the simplest trips. I bought the canon ip80, the canon ip90 and finally the canon ip90v because of the portability. At least I don't have to carry a broken printer in my breifcase or luggage. At this point (after 4 pritners in a year) it is cheaper to go back and use the business center at the hotel no matter what it costs. All of them failed long before the should have. I will never buy a canon product again.
Very please with my new printer. I also like the fact that it has a dual voltage so I can travel with it to Europe.
You won't be sorry. Haven't done photo's. I was looking for a portable computer to carry with my laptop. Although it was refurbished, it was marked down so much. Some office supply stores do. I don't know if I'd spend $300 for it. grab it.
The big K or W doesn't carry Cannon 15 or 16. I've had problems with trying to find ink, though.
It has been great. but I think that is a common problem with all printers :) There is a warning to let you know you are running low.
Came across this one at Fry's. It seems to go through ink quickly.
Bought it for documents. I decided to take a chance on it.
but if you can find it cheaper.
This printer works just fine. My husband looked for updated downloads at Canon, but he could not find that model in the list provided. The color is good and the ink refills are not very expensive. I ordered this printer because it was compact in size and the info material said it was compatable with Microsoft VISTA. My older PIXMA ip4200 would not print correctly with VISTA.
Overall 4 star. A little heavy for transporting. Easy to use and prints quick. Have not tested the blue tooth technology.
